In 1996 Marco Arevalo initiated Agroexpertos as a response to rapid development of diseases in Central America growing crop production and exportation that required increase technical diagnostics and assistance in plant protection programs and quality control.

With over 15 years of experience in teaching and providing high quality disease diagnostics to a wide range of clients such as producers, agroexport  companies, extension staff, universities and governments, Marco is highly qualified to design and deliver training courses, technology transfer , research and development agricultural projects.

Agroexpertos grew to provide plant disease diagnostic services also  by strong team collaboration with world class laboratories and international projects to encourage special trainings and capacity building.
Agroexpertos also supports the development of  sustainable agriculture practices by performing diagnostics tests  that allow growers to early detect important plant pathogens integrating agriculture crop protection with crop managing programs to promote plant health.
